As many of you are aware the last 18 months have been very difficult for House of Elliott. The Newcastle East development project, the loss of hundreds of public parking spaces in town and the closure of Hunter Street for the light rail construction have all been contributing factors.
The construction phase of the Newcastle East development is about to start, and we have been informed of the management plan for our street which will make it extremely difficult for us to function as a business. As such we have decided to restructure and move the retail side of the business to the old Newcastle railway station/New Station precinct at 110 Scott Street.
We look forward to seeing you at our new store, when we open on Wednesday 12th June, where you can expect to see the same exciting range of furniture and home wares as well get ideas and find inspiration for your homes.
We will continue to offer an Interior Design Service from our existing showroom at 14 Perkins Street, however this will be by appointment only.
At Scott Street it will be business as usual ie all laybys, special orders and of course our friendly staff will be there (our phone number remains the same).
The station precinct is an exciting new destination and with over 30 car park spaces will allow our lovely customers to park close by.
Our new opening times, can be found on our website, Facebook and Instagram pages.
